How to Participate
General Information and Instructions
UB faculty and students are invited to submit posters for the morning poster session. The purpose of the session is to present research findings of completed and ongoing research as well as to present research ideas in the development stage.
First Authors are expected to be present at the poster session to explain their research. In order to be considered for an award, you must present your poster at the Faculty Research Day event.
Faculty Poster Presenters
Faculty may participate in both the competitive and the non-competitive poster categories. Faculty may submit more than one poster, but only one poster in the Competitive category. Faculty members do not need Poster Advisors in order to participate.
Student Poster Presenters
Students may only submit one poster as the First Author. (Secondary Authors do not submit posters they collaborate on. It is the responsibility of the First Author to complete registration and add the names of secondary authors.) In order to complete registration, a student must have a registered Faculty Poster Advisor.
Faculty Poster Advisors
Faculty Poster Advisors will provide guidance to student poster presenters. Faculty Poster Advisors must register and be approved by the Faculty Research Day Committee before a student First Author can register their poster.
General UB Community and Public
The UB community as well as members of the general public are welcome to attend the Faculty Research Day event.
